How do I join FCCLA?
 

Deadlines to join for the 2015-2016 school year passed on December 10th. Join next year!

 

How can FCCLA help me?

 

FCCLA can help you in many ways. We can particularly help you develop confidence, leadership skills, and of course, a knowledge of Family and Consumer Sciences.

 

I've heard you get to go on overnight trips. Is that true?

 

Yes it is! We get to go to Utah FCCLA State Conference, which is in Layton, Utah and is one night. High scoring competitors have the opportunity to attend FCCLA National Leadership Conference, which was held in Washington, D.C. this past year. The upcoming conference will be held in San Diego, California.

 

Can I join FCCLA even if it's the middle of the year?

 

Yes you can! Just follow the normal procedure for joining our FCCLA chapter above. Just make sure the deadline hasn't passed!

What does FCCLA stand for?
 

FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. We represent the future leaders of America.

 

What is a STAR Event?

 

STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition. STAR Events are our competition events. There are many to choose from. Learn about them at the National FCCLA website or ask an officer.

 

What are National Programs?

 

National Programs are programs that students can participate in and use to enrich the lives of themselves and others and make the world a better place. Learn more about them at the National FCCLA Website.

 
I've heard that FCCLA gives me an opportunity to receive an Enhanced Diploma. Is this true? How does it work?
